Vedant J Maheshwari was born in Mumbai, India, in 2006 and moved to London at the age of two. Vedant goes to King’s College School in London and has picked up multiple academic awards throughout his time there.
He has been learning Kung Fu since the age of 11 and is currently an assistant instructor volunteering to teach young boys and girls Kung Fu over the weekend. His interest in self-defence has lead him down paths of varying academic interests, including psychology, gender and sociology.
Vedant enjoys travelling; His favourite travel memories are from his eight-day Machu Picchu trek, an expedition of the Amazon Rainforest, a road trip through the deserts of Namibia and exploring Iceland.
Vedant believes that “Vincit qui se vincit,” which translates from Latin to “He who conquers himself, conquers.”
